CCCC’s popular decision guides are now available in Vietnamese thanks to a generous donation from 24/7 Care At Home. Topics include artificial hydration, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), mechanical ventilation, and tube feeding. The Guides are also available in English, Chinese and Spanish.
For healthcare professionals, having a conversation about goals of care and life-sustaining treatments with seriously-ill patients and their loved ones can be difficult.
Decision Guides for Life-Sustaining Treatments is an educational series designed by CCCC that explains complex topics associated with these difficult conversations using consumer-friendly language with evidence-based information.
The Guides were developed with the help and guidance of healthcare professionals, reflect the latest research on these interventions, and are intended to be used as a supplement to a conversation between a patient and provider.
High-quality prints of the Guides in English, Chinese and Spanish can be purchased in bulk from the CCCC Online Store, and are recommended for use by healthcare professionals who treat seriously-ill patients in hospitals, palliative care units, skilled nursing facilities, hospices and medical groups.
All purchases support the Coalition for Compassionate Care of California.
