Chris Erdman serves as Director of the Center for Loss & Hope and Mission Advancement at YoloCares, a nonprofit hospice serving Northern California. Dr. Erdman led the development of Joshua's House, the West Coast's first residential hospice community for terminally ill individuals experiencing homelessness. A former pastor, seminary professor, and organizational consultant, he brings more than three decades of experience in hospice, bereavement care, ethics, leadership, and community engagement. He holds a doctorate in Organizational and Missional Transformation and is the author of several books, articles, and podcasts exploring grief, meaning, and compassionate care.
