Colleen Vega, CNS, MS, ACHPN, DNP

Colleen Vega is the lead APP in Palliative Care and Hospice at Stanford Health Care and certified as an Advanced Practice Hospice and Palliative Nurse. Her 27-year health care career spans clinical practice in emergency and palliative care, leadership roles, and nursing professional development. She is active in community partnerships with the IDD community and Stanford. Dr. Vega is a frequent speaker at regional and national conferences, presenting on palliative care approaches for underserved populations, particularly individuals with IDD. Dr. Vega has also published scholarly work focused on palliative care, emergency medicine, and disparities in healthcare for IDD community.
