Dilraj Kaur

Dilraj Kaur is a second-year Internal Medicine resident physician and Chief Resident at Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Greater Sacramento, California. She earned her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Global Health, which continues to influence her approach to caring for patients across diverse communities. Dr. Kaur’s professional interests include palliative and hospice medicine, narrative medicine, and compassionate communication in serious illness. She is passionate about the power of storytelling to deepen empathy, foster meaningful patient-clinician relationships, and honor the stories that shape experiences of illness and healing. Outside of medicine, she enjoys photography and values creative expression as a means of reflection and understanding the human experience.
