Jeannette (Jeannie) Meyer, MSN, APRN, CNS, CCRN, CCNS, PCCN, ACHPN, FCNS

Jeannie Meyer started her healthcare career as a Nurse’s Aide doing long-term care, then as an LVN in Critical Care. She obtained her BSN and MSN from University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and has been a Clinical Nurse Specialist since 2000, with national certifications in Critical Care, Progressive Care and Palliative Care. She has presented at a state and national level on multiple Palliative Care topics, including presentations for National Association of CNSs and American Association of Critical Care Nurses.  Ms. Meyer is currently the clinical nurse specialist in Palliative Care at UCLA Health, past president of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses’ Association Los Angeles Regional Chapter (HPNA-LARC) and past president of the California Association of CNSs. (CACNS). She has just completed a term serving on the Board of the National Association of CNSs (NACNS) as an at-large member in 2024 and is the NACNS delegate to the Gerontological Advance Practice Nurses Association Home Health and Hospice Coalition.
