Jeannette "Jeannie" Meyer is currently the clinical nurse specialist in Palliative Care at UCLA Health, specializing in Palliative Sedation, Nonverbal Pain Assessment, Palliative Care in atypical populations, mentorship of nurses, students and interdisciplinary colleagues, program development, policy and procedure writing, research study co-PI support and end-of-life care. She is certified as an APRN (CNS) in Palliative Care with her ACHPN. She has published and presented locally, nationally and internationally on Palliative Care topics. One of her key initiatives is the creation of Hearing their Voice: Advance Care Planning for the Homeless, now in its 10th year.
