Margy Mayfield has devoted nearly four decades to advancing clinical care for children with serious illness. She began her pediatric nursing career at University of California, San Francisco and founded Coastal Kids Home Care in 2005 to expand access to high-quality, home-based pediatric and palliative care. Ms. Mayfield led the development of an innovative home-based pediatric palliative care model that support families throughout the course of serious illness. An educator with the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium, she is deeply committed to mentoring clinical and administrative staff and ensuring children and families receive compassionate, high-quality care at home.
