Michael Fratkin is an innovator in palliative care program development with a focus on access and capacity for rural and disregarded communities. He has established a community hospital palliative care consultation program, a cancer center embedded outpatient practice, and founded a home based palliative care program that has served 1000’s of Medi-Cal members in Northern California. As the Board President of the Institute for Rural Psychedelic Care and specialist physician at the Center for New Growth, Dr. Fratkin has built a palliative care program exploring the value of medicine work with ketamine for people facing serious illness.
