Stephanie Gonzalez is a bilingual and bicultural social worker dedicated to improving care for children with serious illnesses and their families. She began her work with Coastal Kids as an intern in 2018 while completing her Master of Social Work at California State University, Monterey Bay, graduating in 2020. She now leads as director of Pediatric Palliative Care and Enhanced Care Management at Coastal Kids, overseeing programs across four counties. She also oversees master’s-level interns and mentor's interdisciplinary teams and helps families navigate complex healthcare and social service systems. Ms. Gonzalez has experience in bereavement, mental health support, and care management and is committed to culturally responsive, family-centered care with the mission to provide access to compassionate home-based services.
