Stephanie Schmitt completed her pediatrics residency and chief residency at University of California San Diego (UCSD) and Rady Children's Hospital. She completed her Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship at UCSD and Scripps Health. She has worked as an adult palliative care physician at UCSD, serving young adult patients transitioning from pediatric to adult care. She is currently the Medical Director and Director of Education for the division of Pediatric Palliative Care at Rady Children's Health in San Diego.
