National Engagement

In addition to our work throughout California, the Coalition for Compassionate Care of California (CCCC) is actively engaged at the national level:

• Board of Directors member, National POLST Collaborative
• Member, Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC)
• State Coalitions Council member, Coalition to Transform Advanced Care (C-TAC)
• National Advisory Board member, CSU Shiley Haynes Institute for Palliative Care
• Member, National Coalition for Hospice and Palliative Care (NCHPC) by election of the NCHPC Board of Directors. CCCC is the only statewide organization to be admitted to NCHPC membership.
• Palliative Care Council member, The National Alliance for Care at Home (formerly National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization)
• Member, National Partnership for Hospice and Healthcare Innovation (NPHI)
• Member, Patient Quality of Life Coalition (national advocacy group promoting federal legislation and regulation to support quality care for people with serious illness)
