Members-Only Policy Update Webinar

CCCC is having a real impact on serious illness care through the power of public policy -- work which would not be possible without the support of our members.  That’s why we hosted a July 28 members-only webinar focused on our efforts to shape public policy, and highlighting the many opportunities on the horizon for driving change in the movement to transform serious illness care, including:

  • California’s Master Plan for Aging;
  • The State Budget allocation for the POLST Registry;
  • CCCC sponsored legislation:
    • AB 1234 (Arambula) – To detail a statewide POLST Registry & Ecosystem;
    • SB 353 (Roth) – To enable hospices to provide palliative care concurrently with curative care;
  • CalAIM – A multi-year initiative by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to improve the quality of life and health outcomes of our population by implementing broad delivery system, program, and payment reform across the Medi-Cal program.

CCCC members have free access to a recording of the July 28 webinar.  Become a member of CCCC, or contact Rachael Cowan at [email protected] for more information.
