Chief of Engagement and External Affairs

The Chief of Engagement & External Affairs works closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to turn high-level strategy into practical on-the-ground activities that further the organization’s vision, mission, values and financial sustainability. This position is responsible for overseeing the external facing functions of the organization, including all non-grant revenue streams:

• Membership development and relations;
• Philanthropic fund development and donor relations;
• Business development and client relations;
• Education, including the Annual Summit, educational offerings, and sponsorships; and
• External communications.

The ideal candidate will be a tested, collaborative professional experienced in stakeholder engagement and communication. Must be a strategic thinker who is not averse to doing the minutia needed to get the job done.

Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a high-functioning Administrative Assistant to help move our organization’s mission forward by serving as an engagement coordinator in support of the work that our CEO and program staff undertake. The Administrative Assistant’s primary responsibility will be scheduling and coordinating various meetings and conference calls between our staff and numerous external stakeholders. This half-time position offers a great opportunity for the right person – one who is highly-organized, communicates well both written and orally and has experience building relationships with stakeholders and community organizations.
