In this condensed, impactful format, our distinguished expert speakers will share the history of therapeutic uses of psychedelic substances and summarize the current clinical evidence supporting their use, especially in palliative care. Applications of psychedelic therapies to address spiritual and existential suffering in serous illness will be a special focus.
In addition, we'll take a look at current policy, legislative, and regulatory efforts to create safe and equitable access to therapeutic psychedelics in California and nationally. Closing the event will be a panel discussion and opportunity for attendees to ask questions of the speakers.
Attendees will learn how to apply all this information to their professional practice and organization policies.
